About Me

Céad míle fáilte.

I am a communication major at the College of St. Benedict/St. John’s University in St. Joesph, Minnesota. I am studying abroad in Galway, Ireland from August 26-November 29, 2019.

Studying abroad is something that I have always wanted to experience. I come from a family of world travelers and have always admired my family’s wanderlust and curiosity for discovering the hidden gems of this world.

I am fortunate enough to have explored Egypt (2010), Ireland (2012), Guatemala (2013 & 2016) and Italy (2017). Though I have already visited Ireland, I am greatly excited to be back in the Emerald Isle.

My choice to study abroad in Galway is largely inspired by my heritage. My dad was born and raised in Dublin, making me half Irish and an Irish citizen. By the end of my study abroad experience, I hope to call Ireland my second home.

I want you to be able to follow me on my travels over the next few months. I love to write so I thought a blog was most fitting for me to share my experience. Whether you’re reading about my highlights, learning about my mishaps (sometimes they make the best memories) or viewing my photos, I hope this blog takes you on a little trip of your own.

Get ready to stamp your passport. I hope you stick around.

Sláinte.
